“Thank you to director Li Xue, whom I both love and hate. Every day on set, I felt frustrated with you, but from the bottom of my heart, I’m truly grateful. I believe you were the one who saved me.”
She also thanked her fellow mountain patrol team cast members, the production crew, her own team, and her parents.
“Mom and Dad, I finally won this award. Your daughter didn’t let you down.”
Yang Zi also shared an encouraging message for anyone pursuing their dreams.
“I want to tell everyone who has a dream: as long as you keep going, don’t worry about how others see you. Stay true to your original aspirations, and one day you’ll reach the other side of your dreams.”
She concluded her speech by emphasizing that the award was not the peak of her acting career.
“This trophy is not my finish line. It is the starting point for actress Yang Zi.”
A day after the ceremony, on June 27, Yang Zi reflected on her win in a post on social media, admitting that the achievement still felt unreal.
“Even now, it still doesn’t feel real. Once again, thank you, Bai Ju. I’m honored to have seen another sunrise through your eyes, to have watched barren land turn green again, and to have understood the true meaning of protecting something.”
She also thanked Born to Be Alive and everyone involved in bringing the drama to life.
“Thank you to Born to Be Alive and every member of the mountain patrol team. This trophy is proof of everyone’s hard work. A great story becomes even more meaningful because of every person’s dedication and perseverance.”
Yang Zi also expressed her appreciation to the Shanghai TV Festival, the Magnolia Awards, iQIYI, Daylight Entertainment, the entire production team, her fans, and viewers who loved Bai Ju.
“Thank you to the fans who have always stayed by my side and supported me, and to every viewer who loved Bai Ju. I will continue to work hard, keep giving my best performances, and take every step of my journey with dedication.”
She ended her post with a quote from Bai Ju in Born to Be Alive:
“I will do everything I can until the day I watch my final sunset.”
