LayarHijau – Chinese supermodel He Sui recently shared details about her postpartum experience in a magazine interview earlier this year, revealing that she faced complications that required medical treatment.
He Sui explained that after her initial recovery period, she developed a condition involving blood accumulation in the uterus, which led to her undergoing surgery. She admitted that the experience, combined with the pressure of caring for a newborn and hormonal changes, made her feel an unprecedented sense of vulnerability.
Previously, He Sui drew widespread attention after unexpectedly announcing the birth of her child with Hong Kong artist William Chan last year. The news quickly became a major topic of discussion online.
Her physical recovery after childbirth also became a talking point. Just 24 days postpartum, she shared a photo of herself in yoga wear, showing a flat abdomen and a slim figure. Her body fat percentage was reportedly only 0.8% higher than before pregnancy.
By day 40 after giving birth, He Sui appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, where she was seen effortlessly pulling off multiple styles and received praise for quickly returning to form.
More recently, He Sui attended a brand event in Shanghai, where she wore a caramel-colored gown that highlighted her figure. Her appearance earned praise from netizens, with many commenting on her elegance and saying she looked even more beautiful.
In the same interview, He Sui also emphasized that she has never experienced anxiety about aging. She believes that for a model, vitality is the most important quality—not only reflected in professionalism and self-awareness, but also in the ability to convey positive values and have a meaningful impact on the public.
