Conversely, Miles Wei transforms into the paranoid and mad Yan Ke in the period drama Love Beyond the Grave, acting as a fierce rival to Chen Feiyu for Dilraba Dilmurat’s heart.
His performance in confrontation scenes against Chen Feiyu received widespread acclaim for conveying 300 years of resentment through his sharp and intense gaze.
Netizens in China expressed high appreciation for his transformation skills, with one comment stating, “The contrast between a gentle lawyer and a crazy villain is absolutely insane.”
Most viewers felt his presence was overwhelmingly strong, as noted in a popular comment: “His acting quality really stole the show, even overshadowing the leading man in some scenes.”
This phenomenon led the public to conclude he is a truly versatile actor, as seen in another netizen quote mentioning that “March has officially been taken over by Miles Wei’s charm.”
