LayarHijau – Fans eagerly anticipating a digital sit-down with Wang Churan and Xin Yunlai were met with disappointing news today. The promotional live stream for the upcoming historical drama A Ming Dynasty Adventure (Ming Yue Lu), originally scheduled for tonight, April 2, 2026, has been officially canceled following a sudden decline in the lead actress’s health.

According to an official statement released earlier today, the production team confirmed that Wang Churan required immediate medical attention, making her participation in the promotional event impossible. “Churan experienced a sudden health issue today. Following a physician’s diagnosis and evaluation, she is currently following medical advice for treatment and recovery and remains under further observation,” a representative for the team stated.

The management team emphasized that Wang Churan was genuinely looking forward to connecting with her fans online. “Churan was very much looking forward to meeting everyone through tonight’s live stream, but as her physical condition is currently unstable, she is unfortunately unable to participate.” The production crew of A Ming Dynasty Adventure (Ming Yue Lu) also shared a poetic apology to those who were waiting: “The bright moon invites from a thousand miles away, yet every family shall eventually meet again. We hope to see you all again in the near future.”

A Ming Dynasty Adventure (Ming Yue Lu) is a highly anticipated historical drama adapted from a popular novel. The series follows the story of Wei Caiwei (Wang Churan), a young woman who disguises herself as a traveling doctor and arrives in the capital alone to uncover the truth behind the cruel slander that befell her father during the Gengxu Rebellion. Amidst her dangerous mission, she crosses paths with Wang Daxia (Xin Yunlai), a man often dismissed as a playboy who is secretly wise and courageous. Alongside an upright member of the Jin Yi Wei, they become inseparable allies navigating the deadly conspiracies within the imperial court.

The production is slated for a 40-episode run and is scheduled to stream exclusively on Mango TV. While tonight’s promotional session has been put on hold, fans have flooded social media with well-wishes for Wang Churan’s recovery, hoping she returns to full health in time for the official rollout of A Ming Dynasty Adventure (Ming Yue Lu).
