LayarHijau – Zhao Lusi has once again drawn public attention through her latest content on RedNote. On February 2, the popular actress released the first episode of her new vlog titled I Can Be Anything (我可以是任何). The project is planned as a three-episode series that will be released gradually.

The first episode of I Can Be Anything (我可以是任何) follows Zhao Lusi as she travels to Hainan to experience life as a street vendor. In order to open a stall legally, she first had to obtain a health certificate by undergoing a medical examination at a local hospital. This process unexpectedly became one of the most humorous highlights of the vlog.

One of the examination steps shown candidly was a stool test. Zhao Lusi was instructed by a nurse to use a cotton swab and rotate it around the anus according to standard procedure. Her spontaneous reactions, combined with lighthearted exchanges with her vending partner Chengzi, turned the moment into natural comedy. Zhao Lusi even joked that the experience felt more “bold” than scenes she usually performs while filming dramas.

Her unfiltered and down-to-earth attitude in I Can Be Anything (我可以是任何) received positive responses from viewers. Many netizens praised her for appearing genuine and approachable, noting that she showed no sense of distance from the audience despite being a top-tier actress.

In addition to documenting her preparations for selling, I Can Be Anything (我可以是任何) also includes behind-the-scenes stories from Zhao Lusi’s appearance as a guest at Dylan Wang’s concert in Macau last month. She revealed that her stage outfit was only finalized during rehearsal. Initially, she planned to wear a sleeveless top with jeans, but since the jeans had not arrived in time, she tried on a plaid skirt instead. Unexpectedly, that outfit became her final on-stage look.

In the same vlog, Zhao Lusi also shared an incident involving temporary voice loss that occurred during dance practice. She explained that the night before rehearsal, she had eaten extremely spicy chicken feet brought by a friend from Chengdu. As a result, the next morning, while practicing choreography with Dylan Wang, she found herself unable to speak properly. Laughing at the situation, Zhao Lusi admitted that the incident was entirely caused by her own overconfidence when it came to spicy food.

Previously, Zhao Lusi took a brief break after falling ill at the end of 2023. After returning to work, she released a script-free reality program titled Be Yourself, which documented her experiences interacting with local communities in different regions. However, the show was abruptly halted after airing only three episodes due to controversy.

Now, Zhao Lusi appears to be focusing her activities on RedNote. Unlike television programs, I Can Be Anything (我可以是任何) is independently produced and not bound by strict broadcast regulations. Although labeled as a vlog, its concept and presentation are widely seen as closer to a mini variety show.

Zhao Lusi has shared that her interest in street vendors stems from her love for the warmth and simplicity of everyday life. Through I Can Be Anything (我可以是任何), she hopes to truly become part of that environment rather than merely observing it. The main episodes are released every Monday, while behind-the-scenes footage is uploaded every Wednesday on RedNote.
