LayarHijau– Chinese actress Jin Chen has recently come under the spotlight following rumors that she may star in a new drama alongside actor Huang Jingyu. The unconfirmed news quickly sparked resistance from some fans, who labeled the rumored project a “bad script” and voiced their opposition online.

Amid the growing discussion, Jin Chen appeared to address the controversy indirectly during a livestream on January 14. While not mentioning the rumored drama by name, her remarks were widely interpreted as a response to fans’ dissatisfaction with what they described as an unpromising project.

Speaking in a relaxed yet confident tone, Jin Chen reassured viewers not to worry too much. She emphasized that she has never casually accepted low-quality projects and that her past choices have all been carefully considered.

“Just relax and wait to see it. I’ve never taken on a bad drama, right? They’ve all been pretty good,” Jin Chen said during the livestream.

She went on to explain that even if a project is viewed negatively by the public at first, it does not mean it cannot be improved. In her view, the final quality of a drama depends on how it is made, especially in the case of adaptations.

“Even if people say it’s bad, so what? If it’s bad, then it’s bad. Can’t it be made better? If it’s an adaptation, it can always be adapted in a better direction,” she added.

Toward the end of her comments, Jin Chen once again sought to calm her fans, expressing confidence in her own judgment. She stressed that she believes every project that reaches her comes with its own potential and good fortune.

“There are no bad projects. Once it gets to me, it becomes a good one. Trust my choices, don’t worry,” she concluded.

As of now, neither Jin Chen nor Huang Jingyu has officially confirmed the rumored collaboration. However, Jin Chen’s response has been seen by many as a mature and composed way of handling fan pressure and expectations.
