LayarHijau – Zhao Lusi has once again become a topic of public discussion after kicking off 2026 with notable achievements in the advertising world. Just as the year begins, she has already announced two new endorsement contracts. One of them comes from a horror-themed mobile game, drawing attention for its dark concept and striking visuals.
In the advertisement, Zhao Lusi appears in two different roles. She portrays a mysterious female agent while also cosplaying as the game’s iconic “ghost bride” character. Her performance is widely praised for its attention to detail, from makeup and facial expressions to body language. Rather than appearing frightening, many fans commented that her version of the ghost bride looks elegant and captivating. On Chinese social media, numerous netizens remarked that the character feels more beautiful than scary.

Zhao Lusi’s decision to take part in a horror game endorsement is also considered fitting. She has previously shared that playing mobile games is one of her favorite ways to relax and relieve stress. As a result, this collaboration is seen as more than a commercial project, but one that aligns with her personal interests.
Zhao Lusi’s popularity surged again last year through the drama Love’s Ambition (许我耀眼). The series aired unexpectedly and quickly gained strong attention from viewers, marking a turning point in her career following her departure from her former agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment. Since then, her career trajectory has appeared more stable, with increasing opportunities and public exposure.
Before this comeback, Zhao Lusi went through a difficult period. During the filming of Almost Lover (恋人), photos of her being taken to the hospital in a wheelchair circulated widely and caused public concern. Soon after, reports emerged about intense work pressure and script-related issues that were said to have negatively affected her. Zhao Lusi herself once revealed that her contract at the time had been extended until 2030, a disclosure that left many fans worried about her physical and mental well-being amid a demanding schedule.
The success of Love’s Ambition later sparked various rumors online. Zhao Lusi was said to have caught the attention of Alibaba and was rumored to be in talks to join Huajing Entertainment. However, these claims remain unconfirmed and are still regarded as speculation among netizens. The same applies to reports about her new manager, who is rumored to be a long-time collaborator from her early debut days, affectionately known by fans as “Dao Ge.” Many netizens believe that if these rumors prove true, such a long-standing working relationship could play an important role in helping Zhao Lusi reshape her career path.
In her latest horror game advertisement, Zhao Lusi appears in a sleek black outfit with a dark, moody aesthetic. Despite delivering only a few lines of dialogue, she was praised for creating a strong sense of atmosphere. Fans also noted that her overall condition and aura appear refreshed and confident.
Combined with her previously stated interest in mystery and suspense genres, public anticipation for Zhao Lusi’s next projects continues to grow. Many are looking forward to seeing her return to filming, take on new types of roles, and further expand her acting range in the future.
