LayarHijau – The hit drama Love’s Ambition (许我耀眼), starring William Chan and Zhao Lusi, has become one of this year’s biggest successes, with total viewership surpassing 1.5 billion. The drama’s immense popularity not only boosted both stars’ reputations on screen but also paved the way for a new collaboration in the fashion world that has captivated fans and media alike.
William Chan, who recently announced that he has officially become a father, is currently at the peak of both fame and fortune. According to Hong Kong media, his personal assets have reached the multimillion level. His fashion brand CANOTWAIT_, which he founded five years ago, recorded a revenue of over 400 million yuan in 2024—equivalent to approximately USD 55 million. Coming from a well-off family and now running a thriving business empire, William has earned the nickname “Lucky Man,” as he’s said to act purely for passion rather than income.

His latest collaboration with Zhao Lusi comes through their respective fashion labels. William’s CANOTWAIT_ joined forces with Zhao’s RosyDoedian, creating a joint collection inspired by Zhao’s two beloved dogs, Doe and Diandian. The line blends both brands’ distinct streetwear aesthetics and quickly sold out upon release. Zhao even appeared in public wearing one of the pieces, sparking a wave of praise from fans who admired their effortless chemistry and shared sense of style.
Known for his strong business acumen, William has led CANOTWAIT_ into multiple successful collaborations, ranging from luxury car brands to classic animated franchises. Many observers note that his business instincts are as sharp as his acting talent.
Meanwhile, their Love’s Ambition co-star Wan Peng has also seen a sharp rise in popularity. After years of being labeled a “perennial supporting actress,” she finally gained significant recognition and is set to star in the upcoming drama Winner alongside Johnny Huang Jingyu. However, she recently faced false accusations from an influencer claiming she was a third party in someone’s relationship. Wan Peng’s agency promptly issued a statement refuting the claims and announced plans to take legal action. Shortly after, the influencer deleted the post and issued a public apology, admitting it was all a misunderstanding.
With both on-screen success and booming business ventures, William Chan and Zhao Lusi have cemented their status as one of the most dazzling star duos of the year—proving that their chemistry extends beyond the screen into real-world creativity and entrepreneurship.
