LayarHijau – The historical romance drama Fated Hearts (一笑随歌), starring Li Qin and Chen Zheyuan, held a special promotional event in Beijing on October 9. The lead cast appeared together to greet fans and share lighthearted stories from the filming process.
Li Qin looked stunning in a pink tailored outfit, while Chen Zheyuan exuded charm in a classic black-and-white suit paired with gold-rimmed glasses. The actor playfully teased his co-star by calling her outfit a “haute couture gown,” drawing laughter from the audience.

When asked about the romantic scenes between their characters, Fu Yixiao and Feng Suige, Chen Zheyuan recalled a humorous detail. “When I rewatched it, I realized both our lips looked a bit dry,” he joked as reported by Sohu. Li Qin then revealed the reason, laughing, “It’s because the makeup artist used a white lipstick on me, so some of it rubbed off on Chen-ge.”
During the event, the two also led the rest of the cast in performing the trending “Go Chess Dance Challenge.” Their playful moves and catchy rhythm had the crowd bursting into laughter.
Fated Hearts follows the story of Fu Yixiao, a red-clad archer from the Jinxiu Kingdom, and Prince Feng Suige from the rival Susha Kingdom. After meeting again following a fateful war, they find themselves entangled in a web of secrets, danger, and an unspoken connection that slowly turns into love.
