LayarHijau– The period mystery drama Coroner’s Diary (朝雪录) continues to attract attention since its broadcast began. On July 18, the cast—including Li Landi, Ao Ruipeng, Yu Cheng’en, and Shen Yujie—attended two major promotional events in Beijing: the “Chasing Drama Gathering” and the “Taochang Announcement Day”. These events were filled with lively games, sweet interactions, and fan-favorite moments that made the audience swoon.
Li Landi looked stunning in a curly hairstyle and a blue floral lace dress, radiating elegance and charm. Ao Ruipeng appeared casually handsome in a denim shirt and jeans, creating a relaxed yet eye-catching look. The cast took part in a series of interactive games that quickly won over the fans.

In one highlight segment, Ao Ruipeng scattered flower petals while Shen Yujie sprayed fake snow, helping Li Landi recreate the iconic scene of Qin Wan holding an umbrella in the snow. The trio then reenacted the famous “love at first sight” scene between Yan Chi and Qin Wan, sending the crowd into loud cheers and screams.
The chemistry between Li Landi and Ao Ruipeng became a major highlight of the event. Fans affectionately shouted the nickname “Leopard & Cat” (豹豹猫猫) in reference to their sweet and adorable interactions. The host joined in the fun with a cheeky line: “Today is our birthday,” triggering an eruption of laughter across the venue.
During the group interview session, Li Landi revealed the scene that left the strongest impression on her: the moment Qin Wan kisses Yan Chi after they confirm their feelings for each other.
“I felt so shy while filming that scene,” Li Landi told Sohu with a smile.
Ao Ruipeng also shared his thoughts on the difference between playing Yan Chi and his previous role as Lei Wujie in The Blood of Youth. “Yan Chi is more mature, calm, and clever—he pays attention to detail when dealing with others,” he explained. The contrast, he added, challenged him as an actor in a good way.
At the “Taochang Announcement Day,” the cast embraced the show’s eerie aesthetic by playing a “mystery horror box” game. Li Landi, visibly scared, ended up with an empty box, while Ao Ruipeng confidently handled a durian shell and answered trivia questions without hesitation. Their contrasting reactions created hilarious moments that delighted the crowd.
The four cast members also played the “Goujian Sword” relay game, where they had to pass a prop from hand to hand in sequence. The chaotic, uncoordinated handovers and bursts of laughter on stage revealed the natural camaraderie behind the scenes.
Coroner’s Diary follows forensic investigations in a fictional ancient dynasty, blending mystery, romance, and supernatural elements with a chilling aesthetic. Beyond its gripping storyline, the emotional dynamics between characters and the on-screen chemistry—especially between Li Landi and Ao Ruipeng—have made the drama a must-watch, earning them a spot as one of the most beloved screen couples this season.
