The woman accused He Jianqi of various actions, including multiple instances of cheating during their relationship, as well as financial disputes. As evidence, she posted proof of livestreaming gifts she had given, totaling nearly 150,000 yuan (approximately USD 24,000).
In the Chinese short drama industry, He Jianqi has gained considerable popularity due to his charming appearance and numerous works. Some of his representative short dramas include Help My Husband is Actually the President, Plans for the Scandal, and Love After Reborn.
On Monday, March 3, a netizen commented on the Weibo of renowned director Yu Zheng regarding He Jianqi. Initially, He Jianqi was slated to play a supporting role in the drama Yu Ming Cha Gu, starring Hou Minghao and Guli Nazha. However, due to this scandal, Yu Zheng confirmed that he would be replaced. The producer also revealed that He Jianqi’s character was a very minor male supporting role, which was not among the seven men pursuing the female lead’s affections, according to Sohu.
Public information shows that He Jianqi was born in Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, on February 26, 1995. He studied passenger and freight transportation at Heilongjiang Transportation Vocational and Technical College. After graduating, he worked as a high-speed rail ticket seller before resigning and being invited to star in a short drama, which led him into the entertainment industry.
As of March 3, He Jianqi has not made any public statements, and his studio has yet to issue an official statement regarding this case.
