Fans and netizens speculated that the management boss in the story was Zhao Lusi’s current manager.
After trending for several hours, another friend of Zhao Lusi, Zhu Rui, clarified the situation. She stated that it was Zhao Lusi’s former company that had bullied her, not her current one.
She wrote on Weibo, “Those who do wrong should apologize or be punished. Don’t let innocent people bear the burden.”
It turns out that Zhao Lusi’s former management boss later established a new company, and her old management was taken over by another woman. This female boss has a good relationship with Zhao Lusi and always strives to protect her.
From Zhao Lusi’s own words, her relationship with this new manager is like family, and she is much happier now.
“I once talked to her about how I was bullied by a disgusting screenwriter in the industry several years ago. She was so upset that she wanted to post on Weibo on my behalf to complain about the injustice I faced. So as a friend, it was easy for me to stand up for her in such anger. I also hope everyone understands my friend’s feelings and doesn’t intend to occupy public resources,” she added.
Zhu Rui’s explanation also trended on Weibo under several hashtags related to Zhao Lusi. Given the current situation, the explanations surrounding Zhao Lusi and her management remain unclear. It is still uncertain which statement is accurate. We can only wait for clarification from the involved parties, including Zhao Lusi herself.
