Working with Lin Yi
Shen Yue also shared her thoughts about her co-star Lin Yi, noting how their interactions during filming helped them understand each other better. “After filming, I found that Lin Yi is a very kind person. His kindness feels like God added a lot of kindness to him as his background when he created him,” she remarked. This kindness was evident during their time on set, where they both found comfort in each other’s company amid the cold weather in Wuhan.
One touching detail Shen Yue revealed was Lin Yi’s gentle nature towards animals. “When I was very cold, I would warm myself in front of the little sun, and he would give the little sun to the cats,” she shared to Sohu.. This small act of kindness further solidified Shen Yue’s impression of Lin Yi as a thoughtful person who cares deeply for others, including small creatures.
Insights on Liu Yifei
During the interview, Shen Yue was also asked about her admiration for Liu Yifei. She humorously admitted her hesitance to take a photo with her, saying, “I didn’t dare to take pictures, I was afraid. What I mean is that I can’t bring out Liu Yifei’s beauty. Sister Liu Yifei just has a halo around her.” This highlights Shen Yue’s respect and admiration for Liu Yifei, acknowledging the latter’s exceptional beauty and presence.
Shen Yue’s insights into her character Gu Yi, her experiences with Lin Yi, and her admiration for Liu Yifei paint a picture of a dedicated actress who values her relationships and the depth of her roles. As she prepares for the release of “Smile Code,” fans eagerly anticipate seeing how Shen Yue brings Gu Yi to life on screen.
