LayarHijau – HoYoverse has officially unveiled Nodusfall, a new co-op action game set in an original fantasy world shaped by influences from mythologies around the globe. The game made its world premiere during gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live on August 25.
Players take on the role of Weavers, mysterious figures connected to divine forces and entrusted with missions that could determine the fate of the world. Working alongside other players, they will face powerful creatures, uncover the source of a spreading corruption, claim the remnants of divine power, and attempt to bring order back to a world that has fallen into chaos.

A Fantasy World Built on Mythological Influences
Rather than retelling a particular mythology, Nodusfall draws elements from different mythological traditions and reshapes them within its own self-contained setting. The game features its own landscapes, civilizations, history, and system of divine power, creating a fantasy world with rules distinct from those of the myths that inspired it.
The game also adopts a realistic visual style to portray a vast mythical continent filled with legendary creatures. Players will encounter everything from fearsome beasts inspired by classic Eastern mythology to Western-style dragons presented as ominous forces capable of bringing catastrophe.
New areas will gradually become accessible as players progress through the game, with each region offering its own environment, culture, and history. While familiar mythological themes serve as some of the story’s foundations, Nodusfall builds them into an original narrative rather than directly adapting existing legends.
Teamwork and Strategy at the Core of Combat
Cooperative play is central to Nodusfall’s combat system. Players can form squads to take on formidable mythical creatures, with battles designed to reward coordination and the ability to adjust tactics as situations change.
Characters can be customized through different combinations of Styles and Skills, giving players the freedom to develop builds suited to their preferred approach and their team’s composition.
During battles, players will need to maintain pressure on their opponents while looking for openings. Once an enemy’s weakness is exposed, coordinated attacks can turn that opening into an opportunity to deliver a decisive finishing strike.
Defeated enemies also provide resources that can be used to unlock additional Skills and weapons. These upgrades allow players to refine their builds and gain access to more tactical possibilities as they progress.
A World Corrupted by the Dreadnodi
The story begins with the emergence of the mysterious Dreadnodi, whose presence spreads corruption throughout the land. Legendary creatures are twisted by this force, while the world itself is left in ruins.
As Weavers, players are called upon to confront the corrupted creatures and trace the source of the threat back to its roots. Their mission is not only to stop the corruption but also to gather whatever divine power remains and eventually restore balance to the shattered world.
By combining an original fantasy setting with influences from multiple mythological traditions, realistic visuals, and cooperative combat, Nodusfall marks a new direction for HoYoverse as it explores a game built around teamwork, tactical combat, and myth-inspired worldbuilding.
