Behind Liu Qing’s easygoing personality is also a more sensitive side.
He admitted that he has cried after being criticized on set because he felt his acting was not good enough and that he had slowed down the production.

“I’ve been criticized to the point of crying. I felt that I wasn’t acting well and was wasting everyone’s time,” Liu Qing revealed.
After returning to his hotel, he would sometimes cry alone under the covers.
“I went back to the hotel and cried into my blanket,” he said.
It was a side of himself that people might not expect from his relaxed public persona.
“I may look pretty carefree, but I’m actually quite sensitive inside,” Liu Qing said.
He also tends to be his own harshest critic. After finishing a performance, he often feels that he could have done better.
Even after a project is over, he can still imagine how he would approach a scene differently if he were given another chance.
From Short Dramas to Long-Form Television
After building his experience through short dramas, Liu Qing began expanding into long-form television productions.
He joined the cast of Glory, starring Hou Minghao and Guli Nazha.
He later appeared in The First Jasmine, alongside Bai Lu and Cheng Lei.
Liu Qing also became part of the cast of Shadows of Desire, starring Zhao Qing and Zhou Keyu.
These projects represent another stage in Liu Qing’s development as an actor. After years of working in fast-paced short-drama productions, he is now gaining experience in longer-form productions and a different kind of storytelling.
