LayarHijau – The upcoming animated feature Under One Person: Mianshan Bloodbath (一人之下·绵山血战) has officially unveiled its first concept poster while announcing that original comic creator Mi Er (米二) will serve as the film’s screenwriter.
The announcement was made during the film’s Open Day event and Mi Er’s fan meeting, held at the MmmGoods flagship store on July 25.
Under One Person: Mianshan Bloodbath is the first theatrical animated film in the Under One Person franchise. The story adapts the fan-favorite “Mianshan Bloodbath” arc, one of the series’ most important chapters.
Set during the Second Sino-Japanese War, the film follows a fierce life-or-death battle between the Ten Elites of the Tang Clan and the Bihuo ninja force.
Speaking at the event, Mi Er said he has always believed the “Mianshan Bloodbath” arc was well suited for a feature-length film. He added that even viewers who have never experienced the Under One Person franchise should have no trouble following the story.
Mi Er also described the film as an exploration of a uniquely Chinese style of emotional expression—subtle, restrained, and often left unsaid. He hopes the storytelling and presentation will offer audiences a fresh cinematic experience.
Under One Person: Mianshan Bloodbath is scheduled to open in Chinese theaters in 2027.
Originally created by Mi Er, Under One Person debuted as a web comic on Tencent’s platform in 2015 before growing into one of China’s best-known multimedia franchises. The series has since been adapted into the anime Hitori no Shita: The Outcast, the hit live-action drama I Am Nobody (2023), the live-action film The Traveller (2024), and the action game The Hidden Ones developed by Tencent’s MoreFun Studios. Mianshan Bloodbath will become the franchise’s first animated feature film to receive a theatrical release.
