Competition for this year’s Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list was especially fierce. According to Forbes, the selection committee reviewed nearly 4,000 nominations from 18 countries and territories across the Asia-Pacific region before choosing the final honorees.
In its official profile, Forbes described Wang as “young, successful, famous, and at the height of his career,” highlighting his achievements across acting, music, and professional motorsports.
As an actor, Wang has built a strong presence in the Asian entertainment market through a string of hit dramas that have earned both widespread popularity and commercial success.
In music, his solo single “Wo Zai” (I AM NOT HERE) received a nomination for Song of the Year at the 2025 Asian Pop Music Awards.
Beyond the entertainment industry, Wang is also a professional race car driver for UNO Racing. In 2025, he finished runner-up in the Pro-Am class at the Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race. His racing achievements have also helped introduce motorsports to a wider audience in China.
This is not Wang’s first recognition from Forbes. He first appeared on the Forbes China Celebrity List in 2019 at No. 71. He later returned to the ranking in 2020 and 2021, eventually breaking into the top 10, a rare accomplishment among Chinese entertainers.
The release of the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 2026 list generated widespread discussion among fans and industry observers. Many described the recognition as a prestigious international honor, while members of the racing community praised Wang for earning respect through his professionalism and dedication to the sport.
Fans also widely shared Forbes’ remarks on social media, saying Wang’s success is rooted not only in his popularity but also in a track record of achievements across multiple industries. For many, the latest honor is further proof of his ability to excel in every field he pursues.
