LayarHijau – Thai actor Nine Naphat has finally addressed the rumors surrounding the “Chinese-looking girl” that recently sparked online speculation. In an interview with reporters uploaded by Sanook on May 8, 2026, the actor clarified the misunderstanding while also confirming that he now has a new girlfriend.
The rumors began after senior TV host Noom Kanchai commented on a social media page linked to a reposted photo from Nine’s account. According to the actor, the woman in the photo was simply a real friend of his who happened to be photographed next to a car.

“First, I want to clarify this for P’Noom Kanchai. I reposted a picture of my friend, who is genuinely just my friend. The photo happened to include a car as well, right? Then P’Noom commented on a page saying that person wasn’t the one because she was already married and had a family. But that wasn’t true either. Everyone started linking things together randomly,” Nine explained.

However, the actor surprised reporters when he admitted that he is indeed dating someone outside the entertainment industry.
“But… but… the truth is, I am dating a non-celebrity,” he said with a shy smile.
When asked whether the woman was the same “Chinese-looking girl” mentioned in the rumors, Nine laughed shyly and avoided giving a direct answer. Instead, he emphasized that he wants the relationship to progress naturally and remain private.
“Honestly, I want everything to happen naturally. I feel like I want things to progress little by little. I want to keep this relationship in a private space. I want to give her privacy and also respect her family’s privacy. Everything should move gradually. I’m not hiding it, but I hope everyone can respect my privacy and respect this boundary as well,” he said.
Nine also declined to reveal how long they had known each other or how the relationship started, saying he wanted to keep those details within their personal space.
When reporters asked how his girlfriend had changed or completed his life, the actor once again laughed and refused to elaborate.
“That’s personal,” he replied.
At the end of the interview, reporters once again asked whether Nine Naphat was officially no longer single. Smiling shyly, he answered briefly but clearly:
“I’m sold out,” he said.
