Arifin works as a kitchen staff member in the government’s Free Nutritious Meals program. In between his work schedule and regular exercise routine, he often spends his leisure time watching his favorite animated content, or donghua, through the WeTV platform on his phone.
What started as a simple habit eventually led him to win the grand prize—a Honda WR-V—from the joint Telkomsel and WeTV program. The prize handover in Surabaya also reflects that customers from all regions, including Madura, have the same opportunity to receive appreciation from the digital services they use.

The symbolic handover ceremony was conducted by Tectony Rachman, Manager of Consumer Branch Surabaya at Telkomsel, together with David Seprian, Head of Business Development & Partnership at WeTV.
In addition to receiving the Honda WR-V, Arifin also received additional appreciation in the form of a one-year Telkomsel data package from Telkomsel Area 3.
The atmosphere at Grapari Sudirman Surabaya became even warmer and more emotional as Arifin was accompanied by his family and close friends, who came to celebrate the special moment with him.
Arifin’s journey to claiming the prize was also filled with emotional twists. He admitted that he initially did not believe the news when he was first contacted.
However, after going through an official verification process with the Telkomsel and WeTV teams at Grapari Sudirman Surabaya, his doubts eventually turned into deep gratitude.
“This car is not only a gift for me, but also a symbol of hope to improve my quality of life and a way for me to make my parents happy. I feel that my consistency in enjoying my favorite content has finally brought results that I never imagined before,” he said emotionally during the key handover ceremony in Surabaya.
The event concluded with the symbolic key handover and a vehicle inspection of the Honda WR-V together with the winner’s family.
To ensure the winner’s convenience, Telkomsel and WeTV confirmed that all taxes related to the prize have been fully covered by the organizers. This means the car could be received by Arifin without any additional costs.
