LayarHijau – Chinese actor Yang Yang has confirmed that he recently suffered a hand fracture, after the topic “Yang Yang hand fracture” began trending on social media and sparked concern among fans.
Speculation first arose when a video circulated online showing Yang Yang attending the opening ceremony of his latest drama, Bu Rang Jiang Shan (不让江山), in Hengdian with his hand wrapped in a bandage or splint. The footage quickly led to worries about his physical condition.
On February 22, Yang Yang addressed the issue directly through his personal social media account. He reassured fans that the fracture was the result of an accident and that he is currently in the recovery stage.
“Everyone worked hard today. I’m very happy, and I also hope everyone pays attention to their own safety. The fracture was an accident, and I’m already recovering, so please don’t worry. I’ve taken note of all the advice you’ve given me, and I will take good care of myself. Even though we only met briefly, I felt your support. My task now is to focus on my role and do my best to complete every scene. I hope your journey home is smooth and that you arrive safely. Let’s meet again through even better works,” he wrote.
His statement immediately reassured fans who had been anxious about his health. Despite the injury, filming for Bu Rang Jiang Shan is reportedly continuing as scheduled. In the drama, Yang Yang plays the lead character, Li Chi, and had already begun work on the first day of shooting.
Born in Shanghai on September 9, 1991, Yang Yang graduated from the Dance Department of the PLA National Defense University’s Academy of Art in 2003 before establishing himself as one of the prominent actors in Chinese film and television.
