LayarHijau — The grand event of Weibo Night 2025, held on February 5, left many questions unanswered, particularly regarding the absence of popular star Zhao Lusi. While many peers graced the red carpet, the actress opted for an activity far from the spotlight: shopping at a wholesale supermarket in Chengdu. This sighting not only revealed her whereabouts but also triggered fans’ serious concern about her lingering health condition.
Previously, uncertainty about Zhao Lusi’s attendance had been a focal point for netizens, especially after the actress temporarily deleted her personal Weibo account amid an alleged open conflict with her agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment. Although rumors circulated that Weibo had extended an invitation due to the success of her latest drama, Love’s Ambition, Zhao Lusi ultimately chose not to attend.

On February 5, Zhao Lusi was spotted casually shopping at Sam’s Club, a wholesale supermarket in Chengdu, China, immediately capturing the attention of fans present.
Despite Zhao Lusi’s effort to maintain a low profile by wearing a mask to avoid crowds, her high popularity meant she was still recognized. Several lucky fans who met her immediately captured the moment and shared it online. In the circulating photos, the star of Love’s Ambition appeared to be accompanied by at least two female staff members, suspected to be part of her team. They were seen seriously browsing products, particularly in the seafood area.
A fortunate fan who managed to greet Zhao Lusi was surprised when the actress responded. When asked how she was recognized, Lusi reportedly answered that she identified the fan solely by their voice.
Reddened Neck Condition Triggers Urgent Health Concerns
The aspect that drew the most attention and concern was Zhao Lusi’s physical condition. In several photos, severe redness was clearly visible on her neck area. Many netizens immediately speculated that the redness was an allergic reaction that had not fully healed.
This worry is closely related to an incident during a livestream on January 28, roughly eight days before the shopping trip. At that time, Zhao Lusi held a livestream on Xiaohongshu to promote local Sichuan honey as part of a charity event. She initially refused to taste the honey due to her allergy. However, her refusal sparked doubt among netizens, who accused her of selling fake or low-quality products.
To prove the product’s authenticity, Lusi ultimately risked tasting the honey despite knowing the risks. The allergic reaction appears to have persisted for a considerable time. Fans expressed their deep concern, suggesting that Zhao Lusi’s overly thin physique, lack of rest, and emotional instability might have weakened her immune system, causing the allergy recovery to be significantly delayed.
Regardless of her health status, Zhao Lusi’s shopping haul this time appeared substantial, completely filling a large cart. Interestingly, during her visit to Sam’s Club, Zhao Lusi’s team was actively recording with an action camera. This suggests that this massive shopping moment will likely be processed into VLOG material and released to fans in the near future.
