LayarHijau – Lu Yuxiao has risen in popularity after starring in My Journey to You (云之羽), and recently captured attention with the fantasy drama Love in the Clouds (入青云) alongside Hou Minghao, as well as the idol drama Love Between Lines (轧戏) with Chen Xingxu.
Recently, Lu Yuxiao began filming the new costume drama Dancing with the Tide (何不同舟渡) with Tan Jianci. Photos of their costumes have already been released. Lu Yuxiao appears in six different outfits, ranging from a street thief girl to a heroic heroine with a sharp, captivating gaze. Tan Jianci wears three sets of costumes, including a silver armor ensemble complete with a long sword, radiating the aura of a general. With his long black hair, Tan Jianci’s look immediately reminded netizens of his role as Fang Feng Bei in Lost You Forever (长相思), elevating his charm to a new level.
The drama officially started filming on January 25. Although Tan Jianci was recently involved in rumors with influencer Si Xiaodi and newcomer actress Liu Yinuo, his charisma remains undiminished. The opening ceremony had no restrictions on audience size, attracting over 10,000 Tan Jianci fans, creating a spectacular scene considered the largest fan support in Hengdian’s history.

Fans of Tan Jianci also staged a light show with 3,200 drones and an 80-meter-long themed flower wall to celebrate him. Seeing this, Tan Jianci was visibly moved several times on stage, recalling his first visit to Hengdian 10 years ago, sitting on a small stool as an extra. The contrast between then and now left him emotional, never imagining that his own filming opening would be on such a grand scale.

In addition, the production team shared behind-the-scenes photos of the main cast’s costumes. Tan Jianci was seen switching from a blue outfit to a black fur cloak, and finally to silver armor. With his long black hair and intense gaze while holding a sword, these shots exude a commanding presence, impressing fans.

Lu Yuxiao, on the other hand, showcased six different costumes, from a green street thief outfit to noble lady attire in red, pale orange, green, and light blue, holding a fan that emphasized her gentle character. Her final outfit, in gray-blue tones, appeared more mature. When she lifted her thin veil and held a dagger, her eyes turned sharp and heroic, perfectly balancing grace and fierceness—leaving audiences eagerly anticipating her performance in the drama.

Beyond the leads, the drama also features a star-studded supporting cast. Previously announced were actors Cao Jun and Zhao Zhaoyi from Glory (玉茗茶骨), Zheng Yecheng from Brocade Odyssey (蜀锦人家), and Wang Jinsong from The Vendetta of An (长安二十四计). Newly added popular actors include Xu Zhengxi from Whispers of Fate (水龙吟) and Princess Chang from The Double (墨雨云间) Li Meng, creating a full lineup that shines from leads to supporting roles.
