Shortly afterward, the official account of My Page in 90s issued a public apology to Wang Yuwen. The production team stated that the individuals involved had been dismissed, cooperation with the problematic promotional team had been terminated, and future promotional work would be reorganized to ensure stricter, more professional, and compliant procedures.
Later that afternoon, Wang Yuwen personally shared a lengthy statement on social media. She began by thanking the public for their concern and support, while admitting that she was surprised the incident occurred during the drama’s broadcast period. She also expressed gratitude to her studio team, whom she said had worked hard to safeguard her reputation and rights.
“I have accepted the apology, and I believe the production team will handle the follow-up matters properly,” Wang Yuwen wrote. She acknowledged that the journey of the drama had not been easy, including its sudden and rushed premiere. However, she stressed that these challenges had not diminished her love for the project in any way.
Wang Yuwen emphasized that she did not want to judge the entire production team based on the misconduct of one party. She explained that the drama’s production side was equally angered by the incident and took swift action to resolve the issue at the earliest stage. She also expressed her appreciation for all the staff of My Page in 90s who have worked hard behind the scenes, adding that she would continue to fulfill the promotional responsibilities that fall within her role.

In closing, Wang Yuwen once again apologized if the incident affected viewers’ watching experience. She reiterated that her ultimate goal has always been to bring joy and light-hearted entertainment to the audience.
