LayarHijau – Liu Yuning’s popularity shows no sign of slowing down. After gaining recognition through dramas like The Long Ballad and A Journey to Love, this year he cemented his status as one of the most sought-after actors with The Prisoner of Beauty (折腰) alongside Song Zuer, as well as A Dream Within A Dream (书卷一梦) with Li Yitong. His charm is now crossing borders, capturing the hearts of audiences even in South Korea.
South Korean actress Im Soo-hyang, best known for My ID is Gangnam Beauty (2018), openly confessed that she has fallen for Liu Yuning. In her latest YouTube vlog, Im Soo-hyang was seen chatting casually with a friend in a car when she suddenly brought up the topic: “Do you know the drama The Prisoner of Beauty? Lately I’ve been completely captivated by a man.” When asked who it was, she shyly revealed it was Liu Yuning.

She explained that what drew her in was the contrast in his character. “At first he was so cold, but later he gradually turned into a little puppy who’s so obedient. That contrast is so attractive,” she said as reported by Upmedia. Her friend immediately teased her, “So you like the tsundere type?” which made her burst into laughter.
Not stopping there, Im Soo-hyang pulled out her phone and showed her friend Liu Yuning’s kissing scene with Song Zuer. She couldn’t hide her reaction — screaming excitedly, covering her face with her hands, and admitting her cheeks had turned red. “I really like him so much!” she said with a shy smile.
This candid fangirl moment has amused both Korean and Chinese netizens, who found her genuine excitement adorable. Many noted that if even a top Korean actress can’t resist Liu Yuning’s charm, then his popularity has truly gone global.
Im Soo-hyang herself is recognized as one of South Korea’s leading actresses. After rising to fame alongside Cha Eun-woo in My ID is Gangnam Beauty, she continued to earn praise for her performances in Graceful Family and Doctor Lawyer. In July, she launched her personal YouTube channel, and her vlog about her crush on Liu Yuning has quickly become one of her most talked-about videos.
