LayarHijau – Guo Yuxin, the actress dubbed the “Queen of Short Dramas” following her massive breakout in Summer of Fendra, is now embroiled in a severe controversy. A leaked audio recording of her privately bashing actress Zhou Ye has surfaced, coupled with allegations that she openly belittled her director and co-star on set, putting her career in jeopardy.
According to circulating rumors, Guo Yuxin has been dropped from her role as the second female lead in the costume drama The Lament of Autumn. Furthermore, several of her brand endorsements have been put on hold, and her social media accounts have shed over 100,000 followers in a matter of days.

Accused of Trashing the Director and Male Lead for 20 Minutes
Ye Feiye, the writer and producer of the short drama With Jin Chang’an (与晋长安), which aired in February 2026, recently opened up about her past experiences working on the series, where Guo Yuxin and Yan Zixian were paired as the main leads. Ye Feiye revealed that during the production, just two days before filming commenced, Guo went on a 20-minute rant about the director and male lead Yan Zixian right in front of the crew and platform representatives.
Ye Feiye shared that after the final costume and makeup fitting, Guo publicly criticized the director’s capabilities and complained about Yan Zixian’s lackluster acting. Feeling superior as a formally trained actress, Guo even stated directly, “Actors without formal training shouldn’t be taking up resources.”
The Irony: Yan Zixian Once Saved Her Life
What shocked the public even more is that the Yan Zixian she belittled had actually saved her life. Reportedly, while filming an underwater scene for With Jin Chang’an, Guo, who cannot swim, accidentally stepped into a hidden drop in the water pool and nearly drowned. Yan immediately jumped in to save her, pushing her back to the edge, but nearly drowned himself due to exhaustion.
On top of that, Yan had previously praised Guo as a professional and hardworking actress during his livestreams. Yet now, she is criticizing him behind his back—the very man who once saved her life.
Netizen Reactions
The majority of netizens have condemned Guo’s actions. Many labeled her as “too arrogant” and remarked, “No wonder the production team couldn’t stand her,” while others called her “ungrateful” and accused her of “stabbing her savior in the back.”
However, a minority of netizens pointed out that the timing of the leaked audio conveniently coincides with Guo’s ongoing contract dispute with her former agency. They suspect someone might be deliberately manipulating public opinion, questioning if there is a hidden agenda behind the leaks.
As of now, neither Guo nor her studio has issued an official response to the allegations. The controversy continues to escalate and remains in the public spotlight.
What do you guys think about this case? Do you believe there is a hidden agenda behind the leaked audio?
