Liu Dachui is known as an entertainment paparazzi figure in China who often shares surveillance-style footage or observations of celebrities, including alleged romantic relationships.
However, the claim was quickly denied. According to Sohu Entertainment, Liu Dachui’s team released an official statement rejecting the rumor and stressing that it did not originate from them.
In their clarification, Liu Dachui’s side stated bluntly, “Rumor!”
Several verified accounts also backed this up, noting that in Liu Dachui’s original livestream, neither Hou Minghao nor Lu Yuxiao were mentioned at all. This raised suspicions that their names had been forcibly linked to unrelated content.
The hashtags sparked heated debate among netizens, with many questioning the lack of solid evidence. Some comments mocked the situation, suggesting that the dating speculation was based on nothing more than a vague sense of on-set closeness rather than any concrete proof.
For context, Hou Minghao and Lu Yuxiao previously starred together in the drama Love in the Clouds. Their on-screen chemistry drew attention and led some fans to support them as a potential couple.
As of now, there is no concrete evidence indicating a real-life relationship between the two. Liu Dachui’s clarification further reinforces that the circulating rumor lacks a credible basis.
