LayarHijau – Chinese actor Hou Minghao’s studio has firmly denied dating rumors circulating on social media. In the early hours of October 12, the studio posted a brief statement on its official Weibo account to emphasize that the actor is single.
According to Sohu Entertainment, several netizens had posted accusations claiming that Hou Minghao was in a relationship. Some also accused him of “forgetting his roots.” Discussions surrounding the allegations gained momentum late at night and continued into the early morning.

Hou Minghao’s studio responded at 4:12 a.m. local time. In its post, the studio wrote, “Stop making things up. Single! Do not disturb!!”
The statement’s emphatic punctuation underscored the studio’s firm stance against the rumors. Rather than issuing a lengthy explanation, the studio chose a short, direct message to make clear that Hou Minghao is single.
The statement came in response to dating rumors that had attracted attention among netizens. However, the circulating claims were not accompanied by evidence or identified the woman alleged to be the actor’s girlfriend.
Hou Minghao had previously been linked to actress and former THE9 member Kong Xueer, also known as Snow Kong, in dating rumors that surfaced in February 2026. The speculation began after a Weibo account claimed that the two had secretly been dating since 2022. The post cited alleged similarities in their personal belongings and schedules as supposed evidence. However, in the early hours of February 9, 2026, both Hou Minghao’s studio and Kong Xueer’s studio denied the rumors. Hou Minghao’s studio described the claims as false, while Kong Xueer’s team also issued a denial.
Hou Minghao is known for starring in the Chinese dramas Fangs of Fortune (大梦归离) and Love in the Clouds (入青云). His studio’s October 12 statement marks another direct response to dating rumors circulating online.
