On the same day, Dilraba’s privately-owned company, Shanghai Jingyan Film & TV Studio, began independent operations, taking over all her entertainment, business, and promotional affairs. The studio, established in June 2017 with a registered capital of 1 million RMB, specializes in planning and consulting for TV dramas, films, and stage productions.
Following the expiration of her contract, rumors spread claiming that Dilraba had prematurely terminated her contract or officially parted ways with Jaywalk Studio. On the morning of February 28, Jaywalk Studio staff issued a verbal statement to media outlets such as Sina Entertainment and Sohu Entertainment News, declaring the rumor “not true.”
However, the public raised questions about this response. Jaywalk’s statement was only verbal, without an official written announcement or company seal, and it did not clarify the specific status of Dilraba’s contract—whether it had fully expired and was not renewed, or if negotiations were ongoing—leaving ambiguity.
Some fans also noted that the response came more than 72 hours after the rumor surfaced, contrasting with Jaywalk’s swift denial in October 2025, when a similar rumor was immediately marked as “Fake” on official accounts. This delayed response led to skepticism among some observers.
Amid this situation, a new rumor surfaced on the afternoon of February 28, claiming that Dilraba had signed with Tianyi Entertainment. Tianyi Entertainment is a newly established company founded by Yang Mi, focusing on artist management and entertainment content production.
Nevertheless, many Weibo users remain skeptical of the claim. Comments emphasized that the news of Dilraba joining Tianyi Entertainment is currently only an online rumor and has not been officially confirmed. Based on available information, the credibility of the rumor is considered low. They also reiterated that Dilraba’s 13-year contract with Jaywalk officially expired on February 26, 2026, after which her entertainment activities have been managed independently by her own studio.
Additionally, Jaywalk Studio’s 2026 New Year artist summary and company New Year video did not feature Dilraba, breaking the pattern of previous years. Multiple verified industry accounts also confirmed that her contract had ended and would not be renewed.
Fans emphasized the essential distinction between “contract expired and not renewed” and “contract termination.” Jaywalk Studio has not yet provided an official written clarification on this matter.
