LayarHijau – Chinese actor Chen Zheyuan has made his first public appearance since undergoing surgery to remove metal hardware from his collarbone. The post-surgery appearance took place on December 12, where Chen Zheyuan was seen wearing a black suit, presenting a calm and elegant demeanor.
When asked about his recovery, Chen Zheyuan responded casually, saying, “I’m doing okay. I feel pretty good today.”

Earlier, in the early hours of December 5, Chen Zheyuan was spotted departing from Shanghai to Shenzhen to undergo the hardware removal surgery. Accompanied by staff members, he still took time to greet waiting fans, even though he appeared visibly tired.
Later that same day, Chen Zheyuan shared a post on social media with the caption, “I’m backkkkkk!” Along with the message, he revealed five metal pins that had just been removed from his body. The photo showed a small blue container placed on a table, holding the five pins along with specialized medical tools used during the procedure. The post quickly attracted widespread attention, with many netizens admitting they felt uneasy after seeing the size and threaded structure of the pins, particularly given common fears surrounding medical procedures and foreign objects implanted in the body.
The injury that led to the initial implantation occurred earlier this year, on the night of Lunar New Year’s Eve. Chen Zheyuan revealed that he slipped and fell in the bathroom, resulting in a fractured bone. He was rushed to the hospital immediately and was unable to attend the traditional New Year’s Eve dinner with his family.
Maintaining his trademark sense of humor, Chen Zheyuan joked that his first-ever bone fracture happened on Lunar New Year’s Eve. He also shared that he had used AI to look up the meaning behind the incident and said the result suggested a positive interpretation.
Despite his efforts to reassure fans, news of the injury still sparked widespread concern. Many fans asked about his current condition and which part of his body had been injured. Chen Zheyuan responded jokingly, saying it was the “collarbone he’s most proud of.”
