LayarHijau– A few days ago, the new drama Overdo (這一秒過火), starring Zhang Linghe and Wang Churan, officially began filming in Hengdian. However, the filming site became a battleground for fans of both actors, as reported by Hong Kong media outlet on.cc on Sunday (July 6).
According to on.cc, Zhang Linghe’s fans decorated the filming location with a 50-meter-long flower wall, 300 flags, and even rented a large bus featuring his photos. They stood for hours under the scorching sun, shouting encouragement for their idol. On the other side, Wang Churan’s fans responded with a themed support bus called “千面伊人” (“Thousand Faces of Beauty”) and filled the venue with flower arrangements in every corner.

Despite the fierce competition between fan bases, Zhang Linghe and Wang Churan showed nothing but warmth and teamwork on set. Recently, a video of the two riding a bicycle together went viral. In the clip, Wang Churan sits behind Zhang Linghe, laughing joyfully and raising her hands while they share playful moments, including exchanging kisses on the cheek. This romantic moment immediately melted the hearts of netizens.
In addition to their sweet interactions, Wang Churan’s styling in the drama also drew praise. Standing tall at 1.72 meters, she effortlessly pulled off various classic outfits, such as a cheongsam, long dresses, black suits, plaid coats, and lace blouses paired with high-waisted skirts. Her elegant visuals earned compliments from netizens who hope this role will mark a fresh start in her career after a difficult period.
Overdo is still in production and scheduled to air next year. While some fans continue debating over the top billing order, on.cc’s report highlights how Zhang Linghe and Wang Churan maintain a friendly and professional relationship on set.
