LayarHijau – Rumors surrounding Chinese actress Zhou Ye are continuing to stir discussion online after the identity of the man seen with her in a viral video became a hot topic on Chinese social media. Young actor Zhou Haoqi was widely rumored to be the man allegedly dating Zhou Ye, but the speculation was later denied by a former manager of Guli Nazha.
On May 22, Guli Nazha’s former manager, known online as @Dk李登科, addressed the rumors in a social media post. The male former manager claimed he had already checked the information regarding the identity of the man appearing in the viral video involving Zhou Ye.

“I asked around already. It’s not Zhou Haoqi!” he wrote.
He later added another comment that quickly drew attention online. “Girls should focus on making money and building their careers. Otherwise, other people may see you as someone they can use to climb higher.”
The statement immediately sparked more debate among Chinese netizens. Before the denial, many online users had speculated that the man seen acting affectionately with Zhou Ye was Zhou Haoqi. The rumors spread after netizens compared the man’s body shape, fashion style, and gestures in the video with the actor’s appearance.
Zhou Haoqi has attracted attention through projects such as Zhan Zhao Adventures (雨霖铃) and Speed and Love. However, there is still no official confirmation regarding the identity of the man in the video.
The viral footage showed Zhou Ye spending time with a man in Beijing in what appeared to be an intimate atmosphere. In paparazzi clips widely circulated online, the two were seen hugging and kissing in public, quickly fueling dating rumors.
According to circulating reports, Zhou Ye had recently returned to Beijing in mid-April before meeting the man. Additional clips also showed the pair engaging in close physical contact, leading many netizens to believe the relationship may be serious rather than casual.
Still, all current information remains based on paparazzi reports and online speculation. Neither Zhou Ye nor her agency has released an official statement regarding the rumors.
Zhou Ye first gained recognition after debuting in the 2019 film Better Days. She later rose to wider popularity through dramas such as Word of Honor, Back from the Brink, Scent of Time, and Love Me, Love My Voice. As her career continues to grow, the dating rumors have become another major topic surrounding the actress.
