LayarHijau – Since November 2025, rumors claiming that Guo Junchen has gone missing for more than 20 days have been circulating on international social media platforms, including Facebook and TikTok. One example of a post discussing the rumor reads: “More than 20 days… and still no sign of Guo Junchen His account remains active, but who’s really behind it? Is he hiding, or being hidden?”
These rumors appear to have stemmed from fans’ concerns that Guo Junchen might be in danger and could face a situation similar to Yu Menglong. However, according to LayarHijau’s investigation, such rumors have not circulated within China. Guo Junchen’s Weibo account shows his latest posts included photos with He Ruixian on November 5 at 2:00 PM local time. He Ruixian is his co-star in the drama Sword and Beloved, which is currently airing.
Since the drama began airing, Guo Junchen has been actively posting content on Weibo. LayarHijau’s previous coverage reported his affectionate interactions with He Ruixian during a promotional livestream on October 30, 2025. The following day, he participated in a fan meet and watch party for the drama with Cheng Yi, Li Yitong, and Chang Huasen, even performing a duet of the drama’s theme song with Cheng Yi on stage.

Logically, the claim that Guo Junchen “disappeared for 20 days” is unlikely. His presence at offline events with live interactions, along with his active social media posts, contradicts the rumor. If Guo had truly disappeared, it would be almost impossible for everyone involved in these offline activities—including co-stars and production staff—to cover it up. While photos and livestreams can theoretically be manipulated, offline events with multiple real-life witnesses are far harder to fabricate.
Prior to these disappearance rumors, the public had also been preoccupied with concerns about the safety of people connected to the Yu Menglong case. Yang Mi was previously rumored to have attempted to save Yu Menglong by inviting him to join her agency, reportedly up to three times. From these accounts, netizens later speculated that Yang Mi herself might have been in a car accident, which further fueled concerns for the safety of those involved.
Since the death of Yu Menglong, many rumors have circulated regarding him and various parties connected to the case. Not all of these claims are true, so the public should exercise caution when reacting to information circulating on social media.
