Actor Li Xian’s (李现) name also became trending due to the hashtag #李现要准备双份份子钱了# (“Li Xian should prepare two wedding envelopes”) that appeared in the news post. This sparked a variety of fan reactions:
“What does Li Xian have to do with this wedding? They’ve just worked together, not just him.”
“Hahaha, the three of them are good friends. Li Xian will surely send his heartfelt congratulations.”
“Alright, I accept it if this is about Li Xian. Hope he finds someone special soon too!”
Cici Wang and Li Xian previously acted together in the drama Tientsin Mystic (河神) in 2017. Dating rumors circulated among fans afterward, but they were later denied. On August 30, 2019, Cici Wang clarified on social media that the rumors were untrue. Li Xian also rejected claims that he was “secretly expressing love” for her.
