LayarHijau – The long-awaited wedding of Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang was finally held in Beijing, surrounded by laughter, warmth, and heartfelt moments. Netizens hailed it as one of the most lively and genuine celebrity weddings in the Chinese entertainment industry this year.
Singer-actor Liu Yuning was among the guests and joined the newlyweds as they went around the tables raising their glasses to offer thanks and greetings. Huang Zitao and Xu Yiyang had officially announced their marriage on December 2, 2024, and this ceremony marked their official wedding celebration. During a live broadcast from the venue, Zitao couldn’t stop praising his wife. “This entire setup was a surprise from Yiyang. I didn’t take part in any of the planning because I trust her completely—she knows exactly what I want,” he said with a grina as reported by World Journal.
The event was attended by numerous celebrities, including Liu Xiening, Xie Keyin, Dai Luwa, Maidi Na, Sun Ruyun, Xie Binbin, and Jiang Chao. A lighthearted moment occurred when Jiang Chao caught a “broccoli bouquet” tossed by Zitao. Xu Yiyang explained that the broccoli symbolized lasting happiness and good fortune, making Jiang Chao beam with delight as he posed with the unique bouquet.
During the live stream, Zitao surprised fans by giving away 15 iPhone 17 units for free and selling “wedding candies” in his livestream shop for only 0.01 yuan. His generosity sent social media into a frenzy, with fans joking, “Zitao really doesn’t treat his fans like outsiders.”
The livestream chat was filled with “Congratulations on your marriage!” messages, to which Zitao playfully responded, “Alright, stop spamming! I got all your blessings. You guys are weird today—you’re not scolding me. Are you AI or something?”
The couple revealed that a wedding documentary will soon be released, allowing fans to see more behind-the-scenes moments from their special day.
