“The first comic of 2025 is dedicated to the top star. Do you think this top star in the entertainment industry is cool and doesn’t like to laugh? In fact, he is just unhappy. His girlfriend can only hide in a suitcase to meet secretly. The strong boss can’t hide even if he wants to, so he can only stay as a cash cow. He seems to have a high status, but in reality, he has no control over his love and career. Do you want to know what happened?” he wrote on Weibo.
For some reason, netizens in China speculated that this top star was Wang Yibo. The actor side then released a statement denying the rumor. “Please don’t spread rumors!” he wrote briefly, including a screenshot of the comic with the word “Fake” in red overlaid on it.
Subsequently, Lehua Entertainment reposted, stating: “We have collected evidence from the rumor makers and will not tolerate rumor-mongering!”
Some netizens commented under the paparazzi’s post, saying that the paparazzi was uncreative for using an old rumor. They included a screenshot of a reality show featuring a male idol hiding his girlfriend in a suitcase.
This rumor originated from a post in 2021. The male idol was rumored to be one of the members of A-JAX and was asked to write a statement agreeing to break up with his girlfriend. However, in reality, he was hiding her in a suitcase while the K-Pop group stayed at a hotel.
