LayarHijau.—Today, Friday, Lin Yi released a lengthy statement and even challenged those who wish to criticize him.
“Hello everyone, I am Lin Yi possessed by Liang Daiwen. Today marks the closing day of our VIP drama ‘Smile Code,’ so I specifically asked Liang Daiwen to give me the courage to speak to all of you, allowing me to be a living person who expresses his thoughts (not a living person but not dead either),” he wrote on Weibo.

He then revealed that there have been many rumors and speculations about him recently, ranging from paparazzi photos of his family vacation that went viral to old pictures with friends and acquaintances. There are even some similar ID copies circulating.
He acknowledged that as his popularity grows, public attention becomes harder to avoid. The more people pay attention to him, the more varied and different interpretations will arise.
“In fact, I accept all kinds of opinions, as long as they are not serious enough to involve unfounded rumors or even illegalities. I will do my best to respect them without affecting unrelated individuals. It’s just that in the future, I want to spend my time on more important people and things, rather than getting caught in a self-justifying cycle that consumes my life,” he continued.
He made one request: for those who wish to criticize or scold him to express their feelings through bullet comments or barrage comments during the final episode of “Smile Code.”
“Our drama has many non-traditional positive ideas that we want to convey seriously, and we still need everyone’s cooperation to help more people see it. Regardless of whether you and I share the same position and perspective, I want to thank every friend who has contributed to ‘Smile Code,’ for themselves, for the community, or for me!” Lin Yi added.
“Finally, I wish everyone happiness every day, because laughter is the painkiller of life,” he concluded.
As reported by LayarHijau, on August 12, paparazzi released photos and videos of Lin Yi enjoying a sunset with a mysterious woman. This woman is older than Lin Yi, and their interaction appeared intimate.
Fans speculated that the woman is Lin Yi’s manager, while some of the actor’s fan clubs labeled the photos as “fake,” in response to bloggers who posted the images with captions suggesting a romantic relationship.
From the detailed post above, it is likely that the woman is Lin Yi’s mother or a family member.
