“We have walked this path together for ten years, and now this chapter comes to a beautiful close. We move forward with mutual respect and best wishes for one another,” Bai Lu wrote.
The actress, whose real name is Bai Mengyan, admitted that writing the announcement brought back many emotions. She looked back on the days when she knew little about the entertainment industry before gradually earning recognition through the roles she portrayed.
According to Bai Lu, Huanyu Entertainment was never just a management company but a companion that shared both the challenges and achievements throughout her career.
She reserved special thanks for Yu Zheng, crediting him with giving her the opportunity to begin her acting career.
“Thank you, Teacher Yu. You gave the key that changed the course of a young person’s life when I knew nothing. When I wasn’t confident enough in myself, you believed in me first,” she wrote.
Bai Lu also thanked Yang Le, one of Huanyu Entertainment’s senior executives, Ma Jie, and all of her colleagues who had supported every decision and milestone in her career over the past decade. She admitted that she had experienced anxiety, confusion, and self-doubt, but said the company’s support allowed her to focus on what she loves most—acting.
She also expressed her appreciation to her fans, affectionately known as “Lurong.” According to Bai Lu, their encouragement, feedback, and unwavering support have helped her continue to grow as an actress.
Looking ahead, Bai Lu said she is ready to embrace new challenges with greater clarity. She hopes to take on new roles, explore different forms of artistic expression, and adapt to a new pace in her career.
Toward the end of her message, Bai Lu once again thanked Yu Zheng, Yang Le, and Huanyu Entertainment for nurturing her over the past 10 years. She wished the company continued success and emphasized that although she is no longer one of Huanyu’s artists, they will always remain like family.
“I believe our next meeting will be in a brand-new story,” she wrote.
Shortly after Bai Lu’s announcement, Yu Zheng responded on social media by sharing several old photos of the actress along with a heartfelt message.
“I will continue discovering new talents and creating more great stories. As for my Bai Lu, she will continue climbing to even greater heights. Please continue to love and support her. I also look forward to working with her again someday. I’m sure it will be another new peak for both of us,” Yu Zheng wrote.
Meanwhile, according to Tianyancha, Bai Lu currently has one active company under her name, Qingdao Luyan Culture Media Studio, which was established in August 2021. The wholly owned studio operates in television program production, film production services, and film distribution. Two other companies previously associated with the actress have already been deregistered.
