LayarHijau – The China TV Drama Quality Ceremony 2026, one of the major annual awards events in the Chinese television industry, was held on March 9, 2026 at the Jing’an Sports Center in Shanghai. The event was organized by Shanghai Media Group together with the Jing’an District People’s Government, with support from several television and cultural industry organizations.
The award ceremony was hosted by Cao Kefan, Chen Chen, Si Wenjia, Feng Lin, Zhang Jiaju, Yi Yi, and Yu Youkuang. The full broadcast of the ceremony is scheduled to air on Dragon TV on March 15, 2026 at 21:00.

The annual event recognizes actors, creators, and television dramas that are considered to have delivered outstanding production quality and influence in the Chinese TV drama industry over the past year.
In the top acting categories, Xiao Zhan won the Outstanding Quality Star (Male), while Sun Li received the Outstanding Quality Star (Female) award.
The Quality Influence Drama Star awards went to Bai Lu and Oho Ou, while William Chan took home the Breakthrough Performance Drama Star award.
Veteran actors Duan Yihong and Qin Hailu received the Quality Honor Drama Star awards, while Wu Yue and Bai Jingting were named Quality Strength Drama Stars.
The Performance Style Drama Star awards were presented to Yu Entai, Wen Zhengrong, and Wang Yan. Meanwhile, Lan Yingying and Wei Zheming won the Quality Breakthrough Drama Star awards.
In the writing categories, Wang He won Quality Adapted Screenwriter for the drama This Thriving Land (生万物), while Fei Huijun received Quality Original Screenwriter for A Better Life (蛮好的人生).
A Better Life also won the Quality Jing’an Annual Honor Drama award and was included in the Quality Model Drama list alongside This Thriving Land and The Legend of Zang Hai (藏海传).
The Quality Director of the Year awards went to Wang Jun for A Better Life, as well as Zheng Xiaolong and Cao Yiwen for The Legend of Zang Hai.
Meanwhile, the Quality Producer of the Year awards were given to Dai Ying for This Thriving Land and Cao Ping for The Legend of Zang Hai.
In the Quality Drama of the Year category, several productions were recognized as winners, including Mobius (不眠日), Beneath the Undertow (暗潮缉凶), The Narcotic Operation (扫毒风暴), Breaking the Shadows (乌云之上), and The Glory (雁回时).
The All-Media Popular Quality Drama awards were given to Love’s Ambition (许我耀眼) and Love Between Lines (轧戏).
Zheng Xiaolong also received the Quality Drama Craftsman award for his long-standing contribution to the Chinese television drama industry. Singer Zhou Shen won the Quality Golden Voice of the Year award, highlighting his contributions through drama theme songs.
The ceremony also revealed the most anticipated upcoming project. The Most Anticipated Drama award went to I Live in Your Time (想把你和时间藏起来), starring Zhang Ruonan and Wang Anyu.
