LayarHijau.com – Jerry Yan (言承旭) once again drew attention after an emotional moment occurred during his concert on December 19, 2025, at the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena, China. During the performance, he paid tribute to the late Barbie Hsu (大S) by presenting the iconic meteor necklace from the legendary drama Meteor Garden (流星花园), which in the series was originally given to the character Shan Cai.
Jerry Yan was seen hanging the meteor necklace on a telescope on stage, gently touching it, and bringing his hands together in a prayer-like gesture. The simple yet meaningful act immediately stirred emotions among the audience.

Jerry Yan and Barbie Hsu are widely known for their roles as Dao Ming Si and Shan Cai in Meteor Garden, which aired in the early 2000s and became one of Asia’s most beloved romantic drama icons.
The telescope and necklace during the concert reminded fans of an iconic scene in the drama from episodes 23–24. Dao Ming Si takes Shan Cai to a spot with a clear view of the sky, bringing a telescope so they could watch the passing meteors together.
While using the telescope, he gives Shan Cai the necklace as a gift. Shan Cai is initially surprised and awkward, but then begins to smile and appears touched. This scene is significant because it marks a shift in their relationship dynamic: Si starts to open up, and Shan Cai begins to perceive another side of Si beyond his usual arrogance and ego. The telescope and necklace are more than just objects—they serve to create an intimate and romantic moment, reinforcing the chemistry between them on screen.
According to Chinatimes, the concert is part of the large-scale tour “F✦FOREVER 恒星之城,” featuring grand stage productions that attract global fans. The moment with the meteor necklace during Jerry Yan’s performance became a highlight and was regarded as a personal tribute to Barbie Hsu.
