LayarHijau – Oliver Chen Xingxu and Dilraba Dilmurat are currently stealing the spotlight with their latest fantasy-mystery drama, Love on the Turquoise Land (枭起青壤). To fully embody his character, Chen Xingxu dedicated himself to a strict diet and intense fitness routine, successfully shedding 8 kg (nearly 18 lbs). Meanwhile, Dilraba managed to slim down by 3 kg (about 6.6 lbs) using just one simple trick, leaving Chen Xingxu both jealous and amused. Oliver’s genuine reaction upon learning her method has gone viral and sparked laughter among Chinese netizens.
Following the massive popularity of You Are My Glory, Dilraba has ventured into more serious genres, starring in dramas like Prosecution Elite and Sword Rose. However, the audience response to these two titles wasn’t quite as enthusiastic as her previous hit. Now, with Love on the Turquoise Land, she is once again capturing public attention. The drama features a unique story concept and has quickly climbed to the top of the rating charts.

Chen Xingxu plays Yan Tuo, a man raised by the earth-demon group, Di Xiao. Besides seeking revenge for his parents’ death, he is also desperately searching for his missing sister. Oliver himself admitted that he gains weight easily. To portray the lean and cold persona of Yan Tuo, he had to undergo a low-fat diet and rigorous physical training. His hard work paid off, as the actor successfully lost 8 kg. His stunning physical appearance and strong chemistry with Dilraba have earned high praise from viewers.
Dilraba also ensured her body remained fit, as her role required her to perform numerous action sequences. Behind the scenes, Dilraba jokingly shared her weight loss method with Chen Xingxu. She claimed she recently dropped 3 kg simply by “skipping dinner.” A curious Chen Xingxu immediately pressed her for other tips, but Dilraba just offered a wide smile, radiating confidence. Oliver’s response—bursting into laughter while widening his eyes in mock shock and even covering them—was shared online, generating massive fan reactions.
Beyond the simple diet trick, Dilraba had to work hard for her role as Nie Jiuluo, who was trained as the ultimate weapon by the Nan Mountain Hunter Army. She performed nearly all of her action scenes herself, using a short sword. Before filming, she routinely trained for several hours every day, in addition to following a gradual fasting routine to support her weight loss. Netizens have widely commended her dedication and professionalism.
