This makes Love’s Ambition the drama with the highest advertising rates in China this year, far surpassing the industry average. The staggering price has led some companies to reconsider placing additional ads, so the total number of ads is lower than expected despite each slot’s enormous value.
Zhao Lusi’s professional life also drew attention amid conflicts with her agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment. All her work activities were temporarily halted, prompting her to delete her Weibo account with over 30 million followers. She then shifted to Xiaohongshu and Douyin, where her popularity skyrocketed.
