According to Kuyun’s report, Pursuit of Jade was not the drama with the highest total viewership across all platforms during the first half of 2026. It ranked No. 2 with 3.278 billion total views, just behind The Uniqueness of You, which recorded 3.401 billion.

Highest Average Views Per Episode
Pursuit of Jade ranked No. 1 for average views per episode across all platforms. The drama averaged 81.95 million views per episode during its run.
That made Pursuit of Jade the drama with the highest average per-episode viewership in Kuyun’s first-half 2026 report.
No. 1 in Total On-Demand Views
The drama also topped the total on-demand viewership category.
Pursuit of Jade accumulated 3.137 billion on-demand views during its run, putting it at No. 1.
That figure was significantly higher than the 1.654 billion on-demand views recorded by The Uniqueness of You, which ranked second.
So while Pursuit of Jade placed second in total viewership across all platforms, it led all dramas in total on-demand views during the first half of 2026.
Highest Average On-Demand Views Per Episode
Pursuit of Jade also came out on top when on-demand viewership was calculated based on the average per episode.
The drama averaged 78.43 million on-demand views per episode. Kuyun ranked it first in the category, with a sizable gap over the drama in second place.
Highest Average Daily On-Demand Views
The Zhang Linghe and Tian Xiwei starrer also led the ranking for average daily on-demand views.
Pursuit of Jade averaged 57.04 million on-demand views per day throughout its run, putting it at No. 1 in the category.
Highest Peak Heat Score
Pursuit of Jade’s biggest showing came in the all-platform peak heat category.
The drama reached a peak heat score of 19,390, ranking No. 1 among dramas with the highest peak heat during the first half of 2026.
Pursuit of Jade was also the only drama during the period to break the 19,000 mark. Life Tree ranked second with a peak heat score of 18,101, while Small Town Big Event placed third with 17,879.
Kuyun recognized Pursuit of Jade as the only drama from the first half of 2026 to receive the designation 爆剧 based on its peak heat performance.
Its Two Lead Characters Also Ranked in the Top Two
The performance of Pursuit of Jade extended beyond the drama itself. Its two lead characters also dominated Kuyun’s ranking of characters with the highest heat scores during the first half of 2026.
Xie Zheng, played by Zhang Linghe, ranked No. 1 with a character heat score of 19,097. He became the first character in 2026 to break the 19,000 mark in Kuyun’s character heat category.
Fan Changyu, played by Tian Xiwei, ranked second with a score of 18,580.
Ye Li, played by Bai Lu in Moli, ranked third with a score of 18,202.

Taken together, Kuyun’s data shows that Pursuit of Jade secured five No. 1 rankings during the first half of 2026.
The drama ranked first for average views per episode across all platforms, total on-demand views, average on-demand views per episode, average daily on-demand views, and peak heat across all platforms.
Meanwhile, Zhang Linghe’s Xie Zheng also ranked first in the character heat category, while Tian Xiwei’s Fan Changyu rounded out the drama’s strong showing by taking the No. 2 spot.
Kuyun’s data shows that Pursuit of Jade’s performance in the first half of 2026 was not simply reflected in its cumulative viewership. The drama also delivered consistently strong results across average viewership and popularity metrics.
