A netizen posted that they had taken over the shop previously run by Dylan Wang’s mother. When asked if Dylan Wang’s mother would no longer operate the shop, the poster confirmed the news. The handover took place in mid-January, and the new owner is currently preparing a new business at the same location.

On January 22, LayarHijau reporters contacted Dylan Wang’s father for comment. He explained that the shop was not fully owned by Dylan Wang’s mother, although she had been involved in its management. The shop did feature several photos of Dylan Wang.
Dylan Wang’s father added that the shop’s relatively remote location, his mother’s desire to step back from managing it, and Dylan Wang’s recent neck injury contributed to her decision to sell the shop so she could focus on caring for her son.
Previously, Dylan Wang was seen wearing a neck brace to protect his spine, raising some concern among fans. His management team clarified that Dylan Wang has been checked by a doctor and the neck brace is purely for everyday protection, with no serious issues.
Dylan Wang was born on December 20, 1998, in Leshan, Sichuan. He began his career by winning the Super Idol competition in 2017 and later gained widespread fame for portraying Dao Ming Si in the 2018 remake of Meteor Garden. His other works include Love Between Fairy and Devil, Guardians of the Dafeng, Unchained Love, and Only for Love.
