The event was attended by the main cast, including Song Weilong, Zhao Jinmai, Lai Weiming, Kong Lingmei, and Han Haolin. They gathered to promote the drama and interact directly with fans.
At the event, Song Weilong appeared in a black leather jacket, while Zhao Jinmai wore a black dress. Lai Weiming chose a black-and-white outfit. The cast entered the venue while handing out candies and winter-themed souvenirs to the audience, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
During the interaction session, Zhao Jinmai complimented Song Weilong, saying that her co-star is “handsome every day” and “talented in many ways.” Song Weilong responded with a relaxed and friendly attitude, posing toward the cameras and drawing laughter from the crowd.
Shine on Me is adapted from Gu Man’s novel Blazing Sunlight. The drama follows Nie Xi Guang, a cheerful young woman who enters the working world after graduating from college. During her student years, she secretly harbored a one-sided crush on her senior, Zhuang Xu.
After starting her career, Nie Xi Guang meets Lin Yu Sen, a former surgeon who has transitioned into the solar energy industry. Their relationship gradually grows from initial misunderstandings into mutual understanding and support, helping Nie Xi Guang move on from the past and embrace a new chapter in her life.
The 36-episode drama premiered on December 22 and is available on Tencent Video, iQIYI, WeTV, Viki, and Netflix.
