LayarHijau – Concerns over the safety of Chinese actor Guo Junchen have resurfaced following death rumors circulating after the September tragedy involving actor Yu Menglong.

The death rumors surrounding Guo Junchen were intensified by claims from British paranormal, Ty William, who stated during a livestream that he had seen through his paranormal methods that Guo Junchen had been murdered and might be replaced by a body double. This claim became one of the main triggers of the viral death rumors online.

Some fans then tried to refute these rumors by posting photos and videos of Guo Junchen at the airport on November 5, wearing a mask and greeting fans. However, this sparked further conspiracy theories. Social media users noted differences in Guo Junchen’s appearance between the airport video and previous footage, including ear shape, eyes, and facial contours, leading to speculation that the person at the airport might be a body double, or that Guo Junchen intentionally kept his mask on due to intimidation or injury.

The controversy intensified when Guo Junchen’s recent Weibo post included the word “好吃” (delicious). Some netizens linked it to Yu Menglong’s death rumors because a similar post had appeared on director Cheng Qingsong’s Weibo account following that tragedy. While there is no official evidence that the word carries any hidden meaning, some netizens interpreted it as a mysterious pattern, adding to the speculation about Guo Junchen’s safety. It should be noted that all claims regarding body doubles or the meaning of “好吃” are netizen speculation and have not been officially confirmed.

As of now, there has been no official clarification from Guo Junchen’s team regarding these rumors and controversies. The case continues to attract public attention not only due to the death rumors but also because of conspiracy theories suggesting the use of body doubles and potential risks within the Chinese entertainment industry.
