LayarHijau – A playful hashtag sparked buzz on Weibo after a clip from the variety show Natural High Season 3 showed William Chan trying to feed Johnny Huang Jingyu ice cream—only to be politely turned down. The tag 陈伟霆你不是黄明昊 别喂黄景瑜 (William Chan, you’re not Huang Minghao, don’t feed Huang Jingyu) quickly went viral, with fans turning the moment into a running joke across social media.

In the video, shared by a Weibo user, William Chan is seen holding out a spoonful of ice cream toward Johnny Huang. Johnny, however, shakes his head and refuses with a smile. The uploader captioned the clip: “William Chan tried to feed Huang Jingyu ice cream but got gently rejected, hahaha. He even shrugged proudly afterward. William Chan, if Justin Huang had tried, he would’ve eaten it for sure!”

To support the claim, the user also included clips of Justin Huang successfully feeding Johnny on another occasion, and a separate moment where Johnny turned down a similar gesture from a different co-star.

The hashtag quickly became a playground for banter among fans of Johnny Huang and Justin Huang, many of whom referenced the duo’s chemistry in other shows like The Top Racer, where they are fondly known as the “3A Scenic Spot duo.” Fans joked that Johnny would never turn down food from Justin—only from William.

The pair’s dynamic has grown into one of the most talked-about “CP” (couple pairing) topics in Chinese entertainment. Their interactions in shows like Go Fighting! and The Top Racer have gained massive traction, especially under the CP tag 春和景明 (Chun He Jing Ming), which has now surpassed a billion views.

On platforms like Bilibili, fan-edited videos of Johnny and Justin’s moments on The Other Me in This World have hit over 8 million views in a single day, with comments praising their “muscle clashes and strategic banter,” calling them one of the most entertaining pairings in the industry.

However, the duo has also stirred controversy due to several on-screen incidents, including:

  • The “Racing Mishap” on The Top Racer, where Justin Huang flipped his vehicle during filming, while Johnny Huang stayed by his side protectively, sparking discussions about their bond.
  • The “Unexpected Aegyo Moment” on Go Fighting!, in which Justin suddenly acted cute to snatch a prop, leaving Johnny speechless and walking away.
  • The “White Shirt Photoshoot,” where the two wore matching outfits for what appeared to be a mock ID photoshoot, fueling playful speculation among fans.

Despite the current hashtag poking fun at William Chan, fans have largely kept the atmosphere light-hearted, even using the trending topic to promote upcoming projects starring their favorite idols—whether dramas, films, or variety shows.

William Chan’s action wasn’t without reason. In another video clip shared by a different user, Wang Anyu is seen offering ice cream to William, and he accepts it right away. Perhaps he intended to do the same with Johnny Huang.

In the end, what began as a harmless joke has turned into a fun moment of cross-fandom bonding, proving once again how quickly social media can turn even the smallest interaction into major entertainment.
