After keeping a low profile for quite some time, Yang Yang recently shared several vacation photos on social media. Dressed casually with messy bed hair and a bare face, the actor appeared relaxed and completely natural. But instead of focusing on his fresh, makeup-free look, netizens zeroed in on the phone case in his hand—noticeably covered in cracks.

Since Yang Yang often posts selfies, fans began to notice small changes in the cracks over time. What started as a light scratch eventually turned into a long fracture running across the entire case.
Some dedicated fans even created a “crack timeline,” comparing photos from different days and jokingly calling it a “documentary of a phone case’s difficult life.” Candid shots taken at airports and during variety show breaks also showed the same cracked case, suggesting that Yang Yang was surprisingly attached to it.
Speculation soon followed about what caused the damage. In one fan video, Yang Yang appeared to slip slightly while getting out of a car. Combined with a visible bruise on his knee and a torn T-shirt, many guessed that the phone might have been dropped during that incident.
