LayarHijau – The official account of Xiao Zhan’s new drama Xiao Cheng Liang Fang (小城良方) released a statement on October 19, emphasizing that the production never charges any fees to actors or extra cast members.
The statement read:
“The production team of Xiao Cheng Liang Fang has never requested any payment from actors. Any action that uses the name of the production team or partners to demand payment is a scam. We strongly condemn all forms of illegal profiteering that harm the public and urge everyone to stay vigilant, not to trust unofficial casting information, and not to pay any so-called ‘agency fees’, ‘deposits’, or fees of any kind to individuals or organizations.”

The drama tells the story of Liu Zheng Liang, a doctor who loses his job at a top hospital due to an unexpected incident. He returns to his hometown and begins working in the emergency department of a local community hospital. While treating patients one by one, Liu Zheng Liang finds himself inspired and emotionally moved by the resilience and humanity of his patients, creating a journey of mutual recovery and growth between the doctor and those in need.
Besides Xiao Zhan, the drama features several main cast members, including Ni Da Hong as Long Dong Dong, Jiang Yan as Ai Chen, Shi Peng Yuan as Liu Zheng Guang, Jian Ren Zi as Che Ming Ming, and Zhang Guo Qiang as Huang Dong Sheng.
