LayarHijau – On January 31, legendary action star Jet Li shared a video showing his appearance at the opening ceremony of the short-form drama Source Power: Jianghu (Yuan Li Jiang Hu/源力江湖). In the video, Jet Li is seen dressed simply in a black padded jacket, a red scarf, and a black cap as he attends the official launch of the production.

Source Power: Jianghu marks Jet Li’s first-ever project in the short-form drama format. In this drama, he participates as a special guest actor. His involvement immediately drew public attention, considering that for decades Jet Li has been closely associated with big-screen action films and martial arts cinema.

Jet Li openly explained his motivation for joining the project. He stated, “My biggest dream is to hope that a kung fu short-form drama can help young people understand,” highlighting his desire for the younger generation to truly grasp the meaning and values behind martial arts.

Jet Li’s decision to appear in Source Power: Jianghu reflects his ongoing commitment to preserving and promoting the spirit of kung fu, while also embracing new storytelling formats that resonate more closely with today’s younger viewers.
