LayarHijau — On December 3, 2025, Lu Yuxiao’s studio and a fan site administrator became the center of heated discussion on Weibo. The controversy began when fan site admin Weixian Shijie (Dangerous World / 危险世界) accused the studio of maintaining private communication with another well-known fan site admin, Wuren Ji Ni (Nobody Can Compare to You / 无人及你).
The studio was accused of granting special privileges. According to the claims, Wuren Ji Ni received schedule details that were never made public, joined the same vehicle as Lu Yuxiao, and invited close contacts to take photos of the actress. Wuren Ji Ni was also alleged to have profited from selling official photos through a lottery-style purchase system. In addition, Weixian Shijie accused Wuren Ji Ni of secretly photographing Lu Yuxiao’s co-stars in several productions and selling the images for personal gain.
Ordinarily, fan site admins only discover filming locations through chance encounters. As an example, Weixian Shijie pointed to a photo shoot in Xiamen on November 30. Wuren Ji Ni and trusted associates reportedly arrived early at the scene, while other fan admins only learned about the shoot after it had already wrapped.
Weixian Shijie argued that this was not the first time such favoritism had occurred, claiming that a class divide had emerged not just among fans — but also among fan site administrators themselves. “It’s like only certain fans are allowed to support the artist properly,” the admin wrote on Weibo.
Weixian Shijie then expanded the accusations by alleging that Wuren Ji Ni profited from privileged access. Wuren Ji Ni was suspected of booking venues for Lu Yuxiao-related events at an exclusive 50% discount, then selling access to fans at full price via lottery — making up to 30,000 yuan in profit from a single event, equivalent to a 33% margin on costs.
It was further alleged that profits from selling Lu Yuxiao photobooks were used to invest in a personal coffee shop — and that Wuren Ji Ni once implied a willingness to “avoid criticizing Lu Yuxiao for three months” as part of a deal.
Wuren Ji Ni was also said to have been repeatedly escorted by staff onto the filming set of the drama Love in the Clouds, among other programs featuring Lu Yuxiao.
This presence reportedly drew strong opposition from actors working with the actress. Wang Xingyue allegedly filed a complaint to the production team, while Wang Ziqi was said to have refused to continue filming if Wuren Ji Ni remained on set. Yet the studio allegedly took no action to stop it.
Weixian Shijie further accused Wuren Ji Ni of using studio-enabled access to shoot and sell unreleased photos of co-stars such as Hou Minghao and Wang Ziqi — potentially violating their portrait rights.
The admin expressed frustration over what was described as systematic discrimination within the fandom:
“Do we not even deserve a glimpse of our idol’s light?” the post questioned, implying that the studio knowingly allowed such unequal treatment. Some fans have since demanded a change in studio management: “Opponents are using this scandal to attack Lu Yuxiao — the studio’s negligence is harming the artist.”
The situation has sparked broader debate about hidden practices in the industry — where teams rely on privileged “insider fans” to manipulate fandom economics and sell confidential production materials, reinforcing elitism within the fan community.
As of December 3, 2025, Lu Yuxiao’s studio has not issued an official response. The studio previously stated opposition to irrational fandom behavior, but did not address this escalating controversy.
Wuren Ji Ni Denies All Allegations
In a personal statement, Wuren Ji Ni denied all accusations. The statement asserted that all schedule information accessed was obtained from public sources, not through direct communication with the studio. Wuren Ji Ni claimed to have submitted transaction and communication records to the official fan club to demonstrate transparency.
Addressing the profit allegations, Wuren Ji Ni released detailed fund-flow records showing that proceeds from the lottery system were used for support campaigns — including charity efforts — and argued that personal expenses far exceeded any revenue.
Regarding conflicts among fans, Wuren Ji Ni insisted having never obstructed others from meeting Lu Yuxiao. Instead, the statement described becoming the target of secretly taken airport photos that were later used to vilify Wuren Ji Ni.
Wuren Ji Ni also dismissed speculation about manipulated photos, providing chat logs to clarify that any editing issues were unknown beforehand.
Legal Action Taken
At the end of the statement, Wuren Ji Ni confirmed collecting evidence and pursuing legal action against those spreading defamation.
